Where to find Outlook client software
You need to install Office Suite for WVU computers only; personal computers need a separate license. Local client information at https://wvu.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=6382
Windows use 2010 or 2013
Macintosh use 2011
Please contact Statler College IT in ESB G-40 to arrange a software installation.
Where to find Lync client software
- Lync client must match Outlook client and Office suite (32bit or 64bit)
- Using Lync client from Outlook Web App (OWA) is NOT recommended as of 4/30/2014
- ver 15.04569.1503 is stable, ver 15.0.4605.1000 is unstable
- OWA -> Office 365 Portal site -> Office 365 Settings -> Software -> Lync -> Install

WVU employees and students get free Sophos anti-virus software for as many as three personally-owned computers.
WVU.Encrypted Certificate
(LINK) to WVU ITS site to download certificate
Save cert at "Go Daddy Root Certificate Authority - G2" then install it
Next attempt to connect to WVU Encrypted, which should prompt for password and poof it works.
Test wifi with cell data service turned off, if work as expected then you are done.
